अपने समय के मशहूर अभिनेता व निर्माता निर्देशक राज कपूर की पत्नी कृष्णा राज कपूर का आज सोमवार, एक अक्टूबर की सुबह पांच बजे हृदयाघात से 87 वर्ष की उम्र में निधन हो गया.
कृष्णा राज कपूर के निधन की खबर उनके बेटे व अभिनेता रणधीर कपूर ने सबसे पहले दी. फिर ट्वीटर पर अभिनेत्री रवीना टंडन और व्यवसायी सुहेल सेठ ने इस खबर को शोक संदेश के साथ साझा किया.
रणधीर कपूर ने एक समाचार एजेंसी से बात करते हुए कहा- ‘‘आज सुबह पांच बजे मेरी मां का हृदयाघात से निधन हो गया. उम्र भी उनके निधन का एक कारण रहा. उनके निधन से हम सभी को गहरा आघात लगा है और हम सभी सदमे में हैं.’’
कृष्णा राज कपूर का अंतिम संस्कार चेंबूर के श्मशान गृह में किया जाएगा. राज कपूर और कृष्णा राज की शादी 1946 में हुई थी. इनके पांच बच्चे रणधीर कपूर, ऋषि कपूर, राजीव कपूर, रितु नंदा और रिमी जैन हैं. कृष्णा राज के कई नाती पोते हैं. इनमें अभिनेता रणबीर कपूर व करीना कपूर का भी समावेश है.
कृष्णा राज कपूर के निधन की खबर फैलते ही सोशल मीडिया पर बौलीवुड हस्तियों की तरफ से शोक व्यक्त किया जा रहा है.
